Dr. Betsy McCaughey to discuss implications of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) on Medicare. She is a patient advocate and former Lt. Governor of New York State. In 2004, she founded and is now Chairperson of the Committee to Reduce Infection Deaths (also known as RID), a nationwide educational campaign to stop hospital-acquired infections. NO FEE. AN INFORMAL COFFEE EXPLORING TAX ARMAGEDDON! GUEST SPEAKER CONGRESSIONAL CANDIDATE STEVE OBSITNIK.
On August 11, 2012, the GRWF hosted an informal coffee with Republican Congressional candidate Steve Obsitnik. We discussed the Ernst &Young report comissioned by Congress evaluating the effects of both allowing to expire and maintaining the Bush tax cuts. The CBO report on the effects on the deficits also confirmed that the middle class is especially negatively impacted by allowing the cuts to expire. Check the newsletter for more info.

We had a great event on June 9th, 2012 at the Innis Arden Golf Club in Greenwich CT for a breakfast roundtable seminar discussion "The American Dream: the Economy, Budgets, and You."
